Scope
These terms and conditions apply to tourist stays on camping pitches and in sleeping barrels, cabins and mobile homes at Naturcampingpark Isarhorn.
Separate contracts apply to seasonal pitches and other long-term arrangements.
Individual agreements in the offer or booking confirmation take precedence over these terms and conditions.
Booking enquiries and conclusion of contract
Submitting a booking or availability enquiry does not constitute a binding booking.
The guest receives a specific offer or booking option from the operator. The contract is concluded once the guest accepts the offer within the stated period and subsequently receives a booking confirmation.
If the offer is not accepted within the stated period, it expires automatically. There is no entitlement to continued availability.
The guest must provide complete and accurate information about travel dates, number of guests, children, vehicle, tent size, registration number, pets and requested additional services.
The booking confirmation must be checked immediately upon receipt. Any errors or discrepancies must be reported to the operator without delay.
For bookings covering several people, the booking guest is responsible for informing fellow travellers about these terms and conditions and the campsite rules.
No statutory right of withdrawal
There is no statutory fourteen-day right of withdrawal for camping and accommodation contracts relating to a specific date or period.
The following cancellation terms remain unaffected.
Camping pitches and free choice of pitch
The booking covers the provision of a pitch suitable for the specified vehicle, caravan combination or tent type. No specific pitch or location is owed.
Naturcampingpark Isarhorn has numbered pitches that are not divided into traditional plots. Motorhomes, campervans and caravans may choose freely within suitable available areas.
From 2027, tents and combinations of car and tent may use only the designated areas. Free choice of pitch for these camping types applies only within those areas.
Specific pitches, pitch numbers, areas or locations are not reserved. This also applies to early bookings, longer stays, group travel and special pitch requests.
Pitch requests are neither recorded nor taken into account. Related information in an email, booking enquiry or other message does not become part of the contract.
In particular, there is no entitlement to:
- a pitch beside other guests travelling with you,
- proximity to washrooms, playground, reception or the Isar,
- shade, sun or a particularly quiet location,
- a specific view or ground condition.
Even with several linked bookings, guests cannot be guaranteed pitches beside one another.
For safety or operational reasons, the operator may allocate a specific pitch or require a pitch change. This applies in particular where there is a risk of flooding, unsuitable ground, fire-safety requirements, closed areas or blocked emergency routes.
Camping is permitted only in the designated camping areas. Paths, emergency areas, access routes and closed natural areas may not be used for camping. Camping directly beside the Isar is prohibited.
A maximum of three dogs is permitted per reservation on the camping areas.
Rental accommodation
The type, facilities, maximum occupancy and price of the booked rental accommodation are stated in the offer and booking confirmation.
The stated maximum occupancy may not be exceeded. Unregistered guests may be accommodated only with the operator’s prior consent.
Subletting or transferring the rental accommodation to third parties is not permitted.
Rental accommodation must be treated with care and left tidy, swept clean and fully vacated on departure. Dishes must be washed and put away, waste disposed of and the fridge emptied.
Additional cleaning or disposal costs actually incurred may be charged in cases of exceptional soiling, smoking, use contrary to the contract or items left behind.
Pets are not permitted in rental accommodation.
Prices and payment
The prices stated in the offer and booking confirmation apply.
Tourist tax is charged additionally at the applicable rate unless expressly included in the price.
Additional services are charged only where the price list, offer or booking confirmation states that they are subject to an extra charge.
A one-off final cleaning charge of €25.00 per stay is added for mobile homes and is shown separately in the offer and booking confirmation.
Camping pitches generally require no deposit. Outside the winter season, the full stay including chargeable additional services must be paid by 12:00 noon on departure day. During the winter season, payment is due by 11:00 am.
For rental accommodation, a deposit of 50% of the agreed accommodation price must be paid within the deadline stated in the offer.
The remaining amount, tourist tax, final cleaning and other additional services must be paid by departure unless a different deadline is agreed in the offer.
If a due deposit remains unpaid despite a reasonable additional deadline, the operator may withdraw from the contract and offer the accommodation to another guest.
Cancellation of camping pitches
A cancellation must be made in text form, for example by email. The relevant time is when the cancellation reaches the operator.
The following cancellation charges apply to camping pitches:
- Up to and including 8 calendar days before arrival: free of charge
- 7 to 4 calendar days before arrival: 50% of the agreed accommodation price
- From 3 calendar days before arrival or in the event of non-arrival: 80% of the agreed accommodation price
Tourist tax and usage-based services not yet used are not included in cancellation charges.
The guest may provide evidence that the operator suffered no loss or a substantially lower loss.
Expenses saved and income from re-letting are credited. No double payment is made.
Cancellation of rental accommodation
These rules apply to sleeping barrels, cabins, the log cabin and mobile homes.
A cancellation must be made in text form, for example by email. The relevant time is when the cancellation reaches the operator.
The following conditions apply:
- The deposit paid is refunded in full up to and including 14 calendar days before arrival.
- From 13 to 8 calendar days before arrival, 50% of the deposit paid is refunded. The remaining 50% is retained.
- From 7 calendar days before arrival or in the event of non-arrival, the deposit is non-refundable.
Any remaining accommodation price not yet paid is not additionally charged when the booking is cancelled in full.
If the guest has already paid more than the agreed deposit, the excess amount is refunded.
The mobile-home final cleaning charge, tourist tax and additional services not yet provided are not charged, or are refunded, when the booking is cancelled in full.
The guest may provide evidence that the operator suffered no loss or a substantially lower loss.
Expenses saved and income from alternative letting are credited. No double payment is made.
Late arrival and early departure
Late arrival must be reported to the operator as early as possible.
Late arrival does not shorten the booked period or reduce the agreed price.
If late arrival is not reported, the booked service may be offered to another guest after the end of the day following the agreed arrival date.
In the event of early departure for personal reasons, 50% of the accommodation price is charged for the unused nights.
Tourist tax and usage-based services that no longer apply are not charged. The guest may provide evidence of a lower loss. Income from re-letting is credited.
There is no entitlement to rebook or postpone a stay. The operator may agree to a rebooking as a gesture of goodwill in individual cases.
Arrival and departure
Camping pitches are generally available from 1:00 pm on arrival day. Earlier use may be possible subject to availability, but there is no entitlement to it.
Outside the winter season, payment must be made by 12:00 noon on departure day. During the winter season, payment is due by 11:00 am. The pitch must be fully vacated and left clean by 1:00 pm.
Rental accommodation is generally available from 3:00 pm on arrival day and must be fully vacated and returned in good order by 10:00 am on departure day.
Entry and exit through the barrier are generally possible between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm.
Arrival outside reception hours is possible only with a confirmed booking and a correctly recorded vehicle registration number.
Entry after 10:00 pm is not permitted.
Campsite rules, open fires and barbecues
The campsite rules form part of the contract. The guest must ensure that fellow travellers and visitors also comply with them.
Open fires are prohibited throughout the campsite.
The following are prohibited in particular:
- campfires,
- fire bowls and fire baskets,
- charcoal and disposable barbecues,
- barbecues using wood, briquettes, pellets or other solid fuels,
- burning waste or other materials.
Barbecuing is permitted only with suitable gas or electric barbecues.
Barbecues must be stable, in safe working order and supervised at all times. A sufficient safety distance must be maintained from tents, vehicles, buildings, trees and flammable objects.
In periods of increased fire risk or where ordered by the authorities, the operator may temporarily prohibit gas and electric barbecues as well.
Conduct and termination by the operator
Reasonable instructions from the operator and staff must be followed where they serve safety, fire prevention, nature conservation or orderly campsite operations.
In the event of serious or repeated breaches of these terms and conditions or the campsite rules, the operator may terminate the contract without notice after a prior warning.
No prior warning is required where there is an immediate danger or a particularly serious breach.
Good cause exists in particular in the event of:
- serious danger or nuisance to other guests,
- breaches of fire-safety rules,
- intentional damage to facilities,
- blocking emergency routes,
- accommodating unregistered persons,
- criminal acts on the premises.
If the contract is terminated for a reason attributable to the guest, the operator may claim the loss actually incurred. Expenses saved and income from re-letting are credited.
Defects and liability
Defects or disruptions must be reported to the operator without delay so that they can be remedied within a reasonable time.
If the guest fails to make a report that was possible and reasonable, their claims may be limited to the extent that the operator was unable to remedy the issue because it was not reported.
The operator has unlimited liability for intent and gross negligence and for culpable injury to life, limb or health.
Where a material contractual obligation is breached through slight negligence, liability is limited to the damage foreseeable and typical for the contract when it was concluded. Otherwise, liability for property and financial loss caused by slight negligence is excluded.
No separate safekeeping contract is concluded for vehicles, caravans, motorhomes, tents, bicycles, valuables or other items brought onto the site.
The operator is not liable for typical effects of a natural campsite, including uneven ground, moisture, leaves, branches, insects, wildlife or ordinary weather conditions, unless the operator has culpably breached a duty.
The guest is liable in accordance with statutory provisions for damage culpably caused by the guest or fellow travellers.
Privacy policy
Personal data is processed to handle enquiries, administer bookings, process payments, fulfil statutory registration obligations and operate number-plate recognition.
Further information is provided in the privacy policy of Naturcampingpark Isarhorn.
Consumer dispute resolution
The operator is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. For consumers, mandatory protective provisions of the country of their habitual residence remain unaffected.
The statutory places of jurisdiction apply to consumers.
Individual agreements take precedence over these terms and conditions.
If any provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, the remainder of the contract remains effective. The statutory provisions apply in place of the invalid provision.
